Greetings Adventurers,
Here are the latest update details for 4Classic 4Story for November 6, 2026 (Fri).
New: Emote Wheel
- Set a key for the Emote Wheel in the key settings. Hold it to open the wheel in the middle of the screen, point at an emote and let go to play it. Your favourite emotes come first.
- New unlockable emotes: Take the L, Orange Justice and Laugh It Up
- An unlock item unlocks its emote for every character on your account.
- All existing dances and social emotes stay free.
- The Wardrobe has an Emotes list that shows every emote, including the ones you haven't unlocked yet
- Mark your favourites with the heart. Favourites are shared across your account.
- Preview on Self plays the emote on your own character in the world. Only you can see it.
- Inspecting an emote unlock item previews its emote.
- Open the Wardrobe with the new button in the main menu bar or with a key of your choice.
- Emotes now play at their intended speed. Some used to play slightly too fast.
Item Shop
- New Darkwell Phoenix mount and companion, found in the new Mysterious Treasure Chest - Darkwell Phoenix (Mount) and (Companion).
Battle Ranks
- Added new battle ranks up to 5M points.
- Hover over a rank in the rank overview to see its name and the points it requires.
Upgrade Chat
- The upgrade chat also announces lucky moments
- Runes unsealed with a red or dark red option
- Chest rewards with a chance below 1%, as well as costumes, mounts, companions and sets
- Upgrade announcements show the level the item was upgraded from, for example "from level +10 to +12", so lucky jumps stand out.
- You can choose which announcements you see in Game Settings → Chat.
World Boss
- Joining the world boss in Ardir now takes you to your own country's side instead of the enemy's respawn point.
- Players who fight in the 5 minutes before the boss appears now get its respawn point and buffs.
Graphics
- Added a Custom day/night mode: pick any time of day in 15-minute steps, and your world stays at that time. This only affects your own screen.
- Added a Shadow Filter option
- Soft: the default, as before
- Realistic: shadows are sharp where an object touches the ground and get softer the further away the object is
- Character shadows are sharper and steadier.
- Small contact shadows, such as hands and feet close to the ground, now show up.
- A fresh install now starts in borderless fullscreen at your desktop resolution.
UI & Controls
- The weapon switch cooldown is shown on its skills in the hotbar and skill window.
- Chat popups, the emoji picker and the autocomplete scale with the chat size. Emojis and wrapped lines keep their layout at every chat size.
- Improved mouse responsiveness.
- Fixed some bugs with the macro system.
System
- Logs, caches and user data are kept in one folder, %LOCALAPPDATA%\4Classic. The new Open log folder button in the launcher settings takes you there, which helps when you report a crash.
- Macros are stored in the game folder, where you can easily find and share them. Your existing macros and auction favourites are moved automatically.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed some UI sounds playing doubled or distorted.
- Using an action while moving now says it can't be used while moving, instead of showing "%s lost in %s."
- Fixed world map territories flickering when hovered near their edges.
- The security dialog at login now opens in front of the quest tracker.
- The in-game clock now shows the right time on the day summer time changes.
- Long achievement lists scroll more smoothly.
Events
- The Halloween event has ended.
