Patch notes - February 20, 2023

Greetings Adventurers,

Here are the latest update details for 4Classic 4Story on February 20, 2023 (Mon). Today’s patch is approximately 71.6MB.

Castle Conquest

For the first time in 13 years, a new castle site has been discovered on the outskirts of Tyconteroga. Rumors have it, that guilds are already preparing their first conquests..

  • A new Tyconteroga castle conquest map has been added
    • New unique map layout
    • Each side can purchase two catapults
    • Seperating walls disappears automatically when the battle atarts
  • Adjusted Gebra castle conquest map layout
    • Pushed back spawn of defenders side into the back of the map
    • Enlarged left and right entrances to the castle
    • New roads for faster attacking possibilities

Territory Conquest

  • Reworked reward system
    • Rewards are now distributed between all participating members (and mercenaries)
    • You get rewarded for a maximum of 3 territories
    • If you have 3 territories in north and 1 in south, you will get 3 northern rewards (3 chests)
    • If you have 2 territories in south and 3 in north, you will get 2 southern rewards (6 chests)
    • A maximum of 50 rewards are distributed
    • If there are more than 50 members per guild, randomness decides who gets more and who gets less rewards
  • Territories now go to the group with the most damage, rather than the guild

Class Balancing

  • Evocator
    • Increased Whip speed to 250% absolute

Battle Modes

  • Mission War
    • The boss HP now gets allocated dynamically, based on how many players participate
    • You now get priest buffs after respawning
    • You can now get priest buffs from the Monk during the battle
    • Monsters are removed from the Map during the battle
    • Item/Skill cooldowns are reset after the battle ends
  • World Boss
    • The boss HP now gets allocated dynamically, based on how many players participate
  • Capture the Flag
    • You can no longer take the Flag at the start of the match

Price check

To help new and returning players to navigate the market, we have added recent transaction prices for some items

  • Eligible items now have a "Recent transaction price" when you hover over them
  • This price is calculated from an average of the past 7 days
  • Prices are updated every day at 00:00
  • Prices are displayed only after a certain number of confirmed transactions
  • Enhanceable items (Weapons, Armor, Accessories) are excluded
  • Note: it may take a few days for the prices to calibrate

Gameplay

  • "Fallen Protection" item now prevents your cast from being cancelled when monsters attack you
  • "Use Mana Potion" setting now works on mana DoT, like Invisibility and Dignified Suffering
  • The delay before can cancel a skill by pressing it again (example Raven, Invisibility) has been reduced from 3 seconds to 0,5 seconds
  • Friendly skills (example Priest buffs, shields, heals) can no longer be dodged
  • No target skills (example Sanctuary) can no longer be debuffed under any circumstance
  • You can no longer get damaged when under the influence of Sanctuary (for example through Wind Blessing)
  • Improved movement macro protection

Miscellaneous

  • Inspect items are now displayed with your characters gear
  • The colored circle when selecting a player are now displayed even when they are mounted
  • Repairing your items no longer requires the Security Code
  • You can no longer be invited to battle modes by blocked/ignored players
  • Ignoring a player now automatically selects all options by default (Chat, Invite, Trade, Duel)
  • Increased minimum required level for weekly tournaments to 90

Bug fixes

  • Fixed broken "Black Panda" inspect
  • Fixed a buffer overflow
